She was certainly unlike Nigella in her cooking, but both had quite privileged upbringings and lives, today Nigella is more down to earth when talking about food, but yes, Elizabeth let the after the war generation dream about the good life, someone had literally to kickstart it, which leads us into the present day, we can all be quite grateful that the mediterranean diet and others are so famous, that they feel like an extension of us as humans, be it in Southern or Northern Europe. Albeit French cuisine remains celebrated, yet it's extremely thoughtful in tasty and inspirational ways to have access to ingredients, receipts and beyond from a variety of beautiful and very different cuisines and cultures. May food bring us together and let our world blossom towards a more open, peaceful and respectful society of planet earth.
